Partial day rehab centers treat drug or alcohol use disorders and mental health disorders which can be co-occurring. In a partial day rehab center the individual participates in various treatment services during the day then returns home in the evening, between 5 to 7 days per week. Partial day rehab centers are a great alternative for alcohol or drug addicted folks who may be unable to pay for inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment, or who might not be able to be away from their own families whilst in inpatient or residential rehab. During a partial day rehab center, individuals experience group, one-on-one and even family counseling and therapy for drug or alcohol use issues whilst addressing whatever mental health disorder is plaguing them. It is important to address both issues concurrently when there is any any expectation for individuals maintaining any kind long-term abstinence or being able to regain a quality lifestyle. This could take several months because of the fact that it is a part-time treatment option, but it'll be worth it for the rehabilitation client in addition to their families in the long run when they can proceed with a brand new beginning.
