DUI/DWI clients that are involved in drug and alcohol treatment centers are generally there on their own accord, but usually in drug rehab due to a mandated court order. DUI/DWI clients, especially first-time offenders might be ordered to rehabilitation either in lieu of other penalties or as a part of a sentence.
