It has been established that individuals who are treated for substance abuse issues as opposed to other penalties being enforced upon them have greater chances of staying out from the courts than those who are fined, ordered to prison time, etc. In drug treatment centers DUI/DWI clients can ascertain why they abuse alcohol and drugs, to enable them to address these problems and find resolution for the actual situations and circumstances inside their lives which prompt their drug abuse.
