Criminal justice clients are those who are in any kind of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program on account of alcohol or drug related criminal offense. This can occur for example if a person is convicted of a DUI or DWI, and for any other type of drug related criminal offense that has led the judge to believe the individual has any kind of substance abuse issue. Not everyone has the option of getting involved in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program as a criminal justice client, but when this approach is ordered through the court it's strongly advised that the individual do everything they're able to to benefit from this opportunity.
