Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of drug and alcohol treatment program due to alcohol or drug related offense. This can occur for instance when someone is found guilty of a DUI or DWI, and for any other type of drug related offense that has led a legal court to think the individual has any kind of substance abuse issue. Not everyone has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program as a criminal justice client, but when this approach is ordered through the judge it's wise that the individual try everything they're able to to make the most of this opportunity. Most of the time, other penalties and consequences may be totally eliminated or lessened when the individual does well in treatment and completes the drug rehab center that is ordered for them.
