Criminal justice clients are those who are in any kind of drug rehabilitation facility as a result of a drug or alcohol related criminal offense. This will happen for example if someone is found guilty of drunk driving or DWI, or any other type of drug related criminal offense which has led a legal court to think that the individual has any type of drug or alcohol use issue. Not every person has the option of getting involved in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation program as a criminal justice client, but when this option is ordered by the judge it is wise that the individual do everything they're able to to get the most from this chance. Oftentimes, other penalties and consequences may be entirely eradicated or lessened if the individual does well in rehab and finishes the drug treatment facility that is ordered for them. New offenders will be the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been verified that criminal justice clients that experience rehab in place of other penalties have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who find themselves ordered to incarceration or similar consequences. Ultimately, it saves the court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients receive powerful rehabilitation.
