DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers are generally there by their own choice, but usually in drug treatment due to a mandated court ruling. DUI/DWI clients, specifically initial offenders could be ordered to rehabilitation either in place of other consequences or as a part of a sentence. DUI/DWI clients may benefit greatly from rehabilitation rather than being punished for their crimes, and so can the judicial system. It has been determined that people who are treated for drug abuse issues as opposed to other penalties being enforced upon them have far better chances of remaining out from the court system than those who are fined, ordered to incarceration, etc. In drug rehabilitation centers DUI/DWI clients can establish why they abuse drugs and alcohol, in order to address these issues and find resolution to the actual situations and circumstances inside their lives which prompt their drug abuse. This can certainly save lives, not only the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but those who may be impacted by their drug or alcohol use if they drive while under the influence in the future. It's a real second opportunity for DUI/DWI clients.
