Outpatient treatment gives rehab clients the opportunity to maintain specific obligations and elements of their way of life while taking part in drug rehab services. Outpatient treatment is a moderate level of rehab, and should not be mistaken for the level of rehab offered within an inpatient or residential rehab setting that's much more extensive. Outpatient treatment could be suited to anyone who has a short history of drug or alcohol use as an example, but will almost certainly not be adequate for someone whose rehab needs go beyond that which outpatient treatment is able to offer. In outpatient treatment, clients can engage in group and individual therapy, as well as family therapy services. In outpatient treatment, most centers offer services five to seven days per week on either a part time or full-time schedule for 30 days or longer in some cases.
