Criminal justice clients are those who are in any sort of drug rehab center on account of a drug or alcohol related crime. This will occur for example if someone is found guilty of drunk driving or DWI, and for any other kind of drug related offense that has led the court to think the individual has any kind of substance abuse issue. Not everybody has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehab center as a criminal justice client, but if this option is ordered from the court it is well advised that the individual try everything they can to make the most of this opportunity. New offenders will be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been determined that criminal justice clients that take part in rehabilitation in lieu of other consequences have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who find themselves ordered to time in jail or similar consequences. Eventually, it saves a legal court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients receive powerful rehabilitation.
