DUI/DWI clients who're involved in drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers are generally there on their own accord, but more often than not in drug and alcohol rehabilitation as part of a mandated court ruling. This may certainly save lives, not just the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but people who may be affected by their substance abuse if they drive while drunk or high in the foreseeable future.
