Partial day rehab centers treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders that could be co-occurring. In the partial day rehab center the individual takes part in various treatment services in the daytime after which returns home at nighttime, anywhere from five to seven days every week. Partial day rehab centers are a great alternative for drug or alcohol addicted folks who may not be able to pay for inpatient or residential drug and alcohol rehab, or who may not be able to be apart from their own families whilst in inpatient or residential treatment. Whilst in a partial day rehab center, individuals take part in group, individual and even family counseling and therapy for substance abuse issues while also addressing whatever mental health disorder is ailing them. It is important to address both issues simultaneously when there is any hope for individuals maintaining any type of long-term sobriety and be able to regain a quality lifestyle. This could take several weeks or months because of the fact it's a part-time rehabilitation option, but it will likely be worthwhile to the rehabilitation client and their families in the end whenever they can move forward with a fresh beginning.
