This kind of treatment is often paid for by private medical insurance, and Medicaid and Medicare in some instances if considered necessary. While in residential short-term treatment for under 30 days, treatment clients will probably be detoxed if it hasn't recently been done just before arriving at rehab, and they will experience rehabilitation services for about 30 days. These types of services can differ with respect to the drug rehabilitation center of choice, but will typically incorporate a moderate amount of both group and individual therapy. When someone isn't satisfied with their advancement in alcohol and drug rehabilitation after the 30-day period comes to an end, it is advisable to seek further drug and alcohol rehabilitation services in a more long-term program.
