DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug and alcohol rehab programs are generally there by their own choice, but generally in drug rehabilitation due to a mandated court order. DUI/DWI clients, particularly first-time offenders could possibly be required to go to rehab either in place of other penalties or as part of their sentence.
