DUI/DWI clients who're involved in drug treatment programs are generally there by their own choice, but usually in drug and alcohol treatment due to a mandated court ruling. DUI/DWI clients, particularly first-time offenders may be required to go to rehab either in lieu of other penalties or as a part of a sentence.
