Partial day rehab centers treat drug or alcohol use disorders and mental health disorders which can be co-occurring. In a partial day rehab center the individual participates in various rehabilitation services during the day and then returns home at night, between 5 to 7 days a week. While in a partial day rehab center, individuals experience group, one-on-one and in many cases family therapy and counseling for substance abuse issues while also handling whatever mental health disorder is ailing them. You will need to handle both issues concurrently when there is any hope for individuals maintaining any kind of long-term sobriety or being able to regain a healthy lifestyle. This may take several weeks or months simply because that it is a part-time rehabilitation option, but it's going to be worth it to the rehabilitation client and their families ultimately whenever they can proceed with a new beginning.
