DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug and alcohol treatment centers are generally there by their own choice, but more often than not in alcohol and drug rehab as part of a mandatory court order. DUI/DWI clients, particularly initial offenders could possibly be required to go to rehab either in lieu of other consequences or as part of their sentence. This could certainly save lives, not only the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but people that may be affected by their drug or alcohol use should they drive while intoxicated down the road.
