DUI/DWI Clients - Marshall

DUI/DWI clients that are taking part in alcohol and drug rehab programs are generally there on their own accord, but usually in alcohol and drug rehab as part of a mandated order from the court. DUI/DWI clients, specifically initial offenders might be ordered to rehab either in place of other consequences or as part of their sentence. DUI/DWI clients may benefit greatly from treatment as opposed to being punished for their crimes, and so can the court system. It has been verified that people who are treated for drug or alcohol use issues as opposed to other penalties being forced upon them have far better chances of staying out of the courts than people who find themselves fined, ordered to jail time, etc. In drug and alcohol treatment programs DUI/DWI clients can ascertain why they abuse drugs and alcohol, to enable them to address these issues and find resolution to the actual situations and circumstances inside their lives which trigger their drug or alcohol use. This can certainly save lives, not only the lives of the DUI/DWI clients, but people that may be affected by their drug or alcohol use when they drive while under the influence later on. This is a real second chance for DUI/DWI clients.
