Outpatient treatment gives treatment clients the opportunity to sustain certain obligations and aspects of their way of life while taking part in alcohol and drug rehab services. Outpatient treatment is a moderate amount of rehabilitation, and should not be mistaken for the degree of treatment offered within an inpatient or residential rehabilitation setting which is significantly more intensive.
