Criminal justice clients are those who are in any sort of drug rehab center on account of alcohol or drug related criminal offense. This can occur for example when someone is found guilty of a DUI or DWI, or any other kind of drug related crime that has led a legal court to believe that the individual has any type of drug abuse issue. Not everyone has the option of getting involved in a drug rehabilitation program as a criminal justice client, but when this approach is ordered by the judge it is wise that the individual do everything they're able to to benefit from this chance. In many cases, other penalties and consequences may be completely eliminated or lessened when the individual succeeds in rehab and completes the drug treatment center that has been ordered for them. New offenders would be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been established that criminal justice clients who experience rehabilitation instead of other penalties have much lower recidivism rates than those who are ordered to prison time or receive other penalties. In the long run, it saves a legal court system both time and money when criminal justice clients obtain effective treatment.
