Criminal justice clients are those who are in any sort of drug and alcohol rehab program because of a drug or alcohol related offense. This can occur for example when someone is convicted of driving under the influence or DWI, or for any other kind of drug related criminal offense that has led the judge to think that the individual has any type of drug or alcohol use issue. Not everyone has the option of taking part in a drug rehab facility as a criminal justice client, but when this option is ordered by the court it's well advised that the individual do everything they can to benefit from this opportunity. In many cases, other penalties and consequences may be completely eradicated or lessened if the individual succeeds in rehab and completes the alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility which was ordered for them. New offenders would be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been proven that criminal justice clients that do experience treatment in place of other consequences have much lower recidivism rates than those who are ordered to incarceration or similar consequences. In the end, it saves a legal court system both time and money when criminal justice clients obtain powerful rehabilitation.
