Partial day rehab centers treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which can be co-occurring. In a partial day rehab center the individual participates in various treatment activities throughout the day then returns home at nighttime, between five to seven days per week. Partial day rehab centers are an ideal selection for drug or alcohol addicted individuals who may be unable to afford inpatient or residential alcohol and drug treatment, or who might not exactly be able to be apart from their loved ones during inpatient or residential rehabilitation. Whilst in a partial day rehab center, individuals take part in group, individual and even family therapy and counseling for drug or alcohol use issues whilst addressing whatever mental health disorder is ailing them. It is important to handle both issues simultaneously if there is any any expectation for individuals maintaining any sort of long-term sobriety or being able to regain a healthy lifestyle. This can take several weeks or months because of the fact it's a part-time treatment option, but it will likely be worthwhile to the rehabilitation client in addition to their families in the end whenever they can proceed with a new beginning.
