Criminal justice clients are those who are in any kind of alcohol and drug rehab center on account of a drug or alcohol related crime. This can occur for instance if someone else is convicted of a DUI or DWI, or for any other type of drug related criminal offense which has led a legal court to believe that the individual has any kind of drug or alcohol use issue. Not everybody has the option of getting involved in a drug and alcohol treatment program as a criminal justice client, however, if this option is ordered from the court it's wise that the individual do everything they are able to to benefit from this chance. In many cases, other penalties and consequences could be completely eradicated or lessened in the event the individual succeeds in rehab and finishes the drug rehabilitation facility that has been ordered for them. New offenders would be the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been determined that criminal justice clients who take part in rehabilitation in lieu of other penalties have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who find themselves ordered to jail time or similar consequences. Ultimately, it saves a legal court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients obtain powerful rehabilitation.
