Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any sort of drug and alcohol rehab center as a result of alcohol or drug related crime. This can occur for example if a person is convicted of drunk driving or DWI, and for any other type of drug related offense that has led the judge to believe the individual has any kind of drug abuse issue. Not everybody has the option of taking part in a drug and alcohol rehab facility as a criminal justice client, however, if this option is ordered through the judge it's wise that the individual do everything they can to get the most from this opportunity. Most of the time, other penalties and consequences may be entirely eradicated or lessened in the event the individual does well in rehab and finishes the drug rehabilitation program which was ordered for them. First-time offenders will be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been proven that criminal justice clients that take part in rehab in place of other penalties have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who find themselves ordered to time in jail or similar consequences. In the end, it saves the court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients obtain powerful rehabilitation.
