Outpatient treatment gives treatment clients the opportunity to maintain specific obligations and aspects of their way of life while getting involved in drug and alcohol treatment services. Outpatient treatment is a moderate degree of rehabilitation, and should not be mistaken for the amount of rehab provided within an inpatient or residential treatment program which can be much more extensive.
