Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation program on account of a drug or alcohol related crime. This can occur for instance if someone is found guilty of a DUI or DWI, and for any other type of drug related crime which has led the court to believe the individual has any type of substance abuse issue. Not every person has the option of taking part in an alcohol and drug rehab facility as a criminal justice client, but if this approach is ordered by the court it is wise that the individual do everything they're able to to make the most of this opportunity. Most of the time, other penalties and consequences can be completely eradicated or lessened in the event the individual succeeds in rehab and finishes the drug and alcohol rehab center which was ordered for them. First-time offenders are the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been verified that criminal justice clients that take part in rehab in lieu of other penalties have much lower recidivism rates than people who find themselves ordered to time in jail or receive other penalties. In the end, it saves a legal court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients receive powerful treatment.
