DUI/DWI clients that are involved in drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities are either there on their own accord, but more often than not in drug and alcohol rehabilitation due to a mandatory court ruling. DUI/DWI clients, especially first-time offenders might be required to go to rehabilitation either instead of other consequences or as part of their sentence.
