Criminal justice clients are individuals who are in any kind of drug rehabilitation center due to a drug or alcohol related crime. This will occur for instance if someone else is found guilty of drunk driving or DWI, or any other kind of drug related criminal offense which has led the court to believe the individual has any sort of drug abuse issue. Not everybody has the option of getting involved in a drug rehab program as a criminal justice client, but when this approach is ordered from the judge it is strongly advised that the individual do everything they're able to to make the most of this chance. On many occasions, other penalties and consequences may be entirely eliminated or lessened if the individual succeeds in rehabilitation and completes the drug and alcohol rehab center that is ordered for them. New offenders are the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been determined that criminal justice clients who take part in rehabilitation in lieu of other consequences have significantly lower recidivism rates than those who are ordered to jail time or similar consequences. Eventually, it saves a legal court system both money and time when criminal justice clients receive powerful rehab.
