DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in drug rehab programs are either there on their own accord, but most of the time in drug rehab as part of a mandated court ruling. It has been proven that people who are treated for drug abuse issues instead of other penalties being enforced upon them have much better chances of staying out of the courts than people who find themselves fined, ordered to incarceration, etc. In alcohol and drug rehabilitation programs DUI/DWI clients can establish why they abuse drugs and alcohol, to be able to address these problems and find resolution for the actual conditions and circumstances in their lives which set off their drug or alcohol use.
