Criminal justice clients are those who are in any type of drug and alcohol treatment center as a result of a drug or alcohol related offense. This can occur for example if someone else is convicted of drunk driving or DWI, or any other type of drug related criminal offense that has led the court to believe the individual has any sort of drug or alcohol use issue. Not everyone has the option of taking part in an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center as a criminal justice client, but if this approach is ordered through the court it is well advised that the individual do everything they're able to to get the most from this chance. In many cases, other penalties and consequences could be entirely eradicated or lessened in the event the individual succeeds in treatment and finishes the drug and alcohol rehab facility that has been ordered for them. First time offenders will be the most probable criminal justice clients because it has been determined that criminal justice clients who do experience treatment instead of other consequences have significantly lower recidivism rates than those people who are ordered to jail time or receive other penalties. Eventually, it saves a legal court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients obtain powerful treatment.
