Criminal justice clients are people who are in any type of alcohol and drug rehab facility because of alcohol or drug related offense. This can occur for instance if someone else is found guilty of a DUI or DWI, or for any other type of drug related criminal offense that has led the court to think the individual has any kind of drug or alcohol use issue. Not everybody has the option of getting involved in an alcohol and drug rehab facility as a criminal justice client, however, if this approach is ordered from the court it's well advised that the individual try everything they can to make the most of this chance. Most of the time, other penalties and consequences could be totally eradicated or lessened in the event the individual does well in rehabilitation and completes the drug rehabilitation facility which was ordered for them. First time offenders would be the most likely criminal justice clients because it has been established that criminal justice clients who experience treatment instead of other penalties have much lower recidivism rates than those who find themselves ordered to jail time or receive other penalties. Eventually, it saves the court system both time and expense when criminal justice clients receive effective rehab.
