DUI/DWI clients who are involved in alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities are generally there on their own accord, but usually in drug rehabilitation as part of a mandated court order. DUI/DWI clients, especially initial offenders may be required to go to rehabilitation either instead of other consequences or as part of their sentence.
