DUI/DWI clients who're taking part in alcohol and drug treatment facilities are either there by their own choice, but more often than not in drug and alcohol rehabilitation due to a mandated order from the court. DUI/DWI clients, especially initial offenders might be ordered to rehab either in lieu of other consequences or as a part of a sentence. DUI/DWI clients may benefit greatly from rehabilitation instead of being punished because of their crimes, and so can the court system.
