Native American and Alaska Native people generally have considerably higher rates of substance abuse then other racial ethnicities. Native Americans and Alaska Natives may either receive rehabilitation in a traditional drug and alcohol treatment facility if rehabilitation is offered in their own language, or benefit from facility which was designed solely to take care of these clients in their own language exclusively.
